Police Appreciation Breakfast a Success

First Lutheran Church sponsored a Police Appreciation Breakfast on Monday, June 11, serving egg bake, coffee cakes, and fresh fruit.  Several officers joined members of the Church for the early morning meal, sharing fellowship as they were thanked for their service.  The event also marked the kickoff of the Body Camera Fundraiser for the Department.  The Church offered to match dollar for dollar on the first $2,500 donated, including money given by non-members.  The final total was $2,110, and the check  was given to Chief Rob Burdess by First Lutheran Church Council President  Judy Monroe. Also present were Lieutenant Bill Henninger and Treasurer David Goos.
